Gold medal gymnast Gabby Douglas is packing up to go to the Olympics games for the second time, and this year she’ll have a special companion to check into her Rio-bound luggage: her very own Barbie “Shero” doll. The one-of-a-kind Gabby figure was unveiled hours after the accomplished gymnast earned a coveted spot on the USA team. Clad in a patriotic leotard under a sporty track suit, the Shero doll can get into some pretty impressive splits and, like her real life counterpart, is prepped to own every event from the beam to the floor to the all-around competition. At only 20 years-old, Douglas has already conquered the Olympic gymnastic world once and has become a role model for young girls hoping to achieve their athletic dreams while maintaining excellent sportsmanship. Douglas’s Shero joins a varied cast of other lauded public figures including dancer Misty Copeland and director Ava DuVernay.
