Just when I thought I couldn’t be any more smitten with my kids’ PlanetBox lunch boxes for being totally easy to pack due to their streamlined, waste-free design, the company has just launched a new reusable water bottle that fits perfectly inside their lunch box Carry Bags. The BottleRocket water bottle had heretofore been the missing piece in this stellar system. Its debut doesn’t disappoint. Made of 18/8 food-grade stainless steel (with no interior lining), the 11 ounce BottleRocket is double-walled and vacuum-insulated to keep drinks cold for up to 12 hours. It has a sturdy, leak-proof cap with a latch to secure the lid closed. I love that it has a silicone spout so no plastic components touch my child’s mouth — (even though the plastic is free of BPA, lead and phthalates). The bottom of the bottle unscrews and comes off, making it super simple to clean — and all components are dishwasher safe as well. My daughter has tried a slew of reusable water bottles since she started school and none have worked out due to one problem or another ie: leaking, cap breaking off, straw getting corroded. I have every confidence that the BottleRocket will stand the test of time and hold up to the wear and tear of daily trips to school. It comes in an array of colors that match the PlanetBox Carry Bags. Mission complete.
