A new product called the InnoGro Garden is making aquaponics easier for anyone to implement right at home. The smartphone-enabled aquaponics system mounts on top of 10-gallon freshwater aquarium, utilizing fish waste to grow plants indoors year-round. Its custom mobile app, in conjunction with built-in sensors and automated equipment, will allow even the most novice of gardeners and fish-keepers to grow their own food. Users choose their desired plants and fish from a database, and pre-configured settings are provided for an easy gardening experience. The InnoGro will be available on Kickstarter this month with an early bird pledge of $379. For more information, visit www.getinnogro.com.
