Who knew beer bottles could be recycled into something so beautiful? Ismael Quintero of IQ Environments was inspired to create this calming recycled lamp, which we spotted at NY Design Week's International Contemporary Furniture Fair, when he happened upon a fire hydrant lid on the sidewalk right after 9/11. Stamped with the saying "Nostri Lumen Est Una", which translates to "our light is one," the piece attempts to offer unity in the aftermath of tragedy.
