I am from Canada. I like the cardboard idea very much. Please get in touch with me. I wish to have a short discussion (email or letter) with you how can we work together. I am looking for to replace a product in the cleaning industry (nothing to do with bicycles) which used almost as much as the bicycle on the road. I have my company related to the cleaning industry and I can make it work and put it on the market with your help and involvement. Keep up the good work. alelkes

Can the BOM really be so low? If it is, how many hours to assemble per unit? How long will it last? I have used shoes that I discovered were made from cardboard and it broke down in two weeks. I am really keen on distributing this if it is really what it is presented to be.

“Only costs $10 to make”? Yet, it also says, “Gafni first painstakingly bends and folds pieces…” What about labor costs? Materials and labor for just $10? Either this guy is voluntarily doing labor at sweatshop level wages or this description was written poorly. Though it still looks like an innovative and cool product to test drive.(However, I can already guess that I would probably want to change the seat.)

So what is the drive and chain made of? Cardboard? I'd like more details - this might be more hype and marketing than reality....

Am writing from Nairobi Kenya. Like Naess from Central America (that's Kansas, right? lol just kidding) I'd like the wheelchair option.

I run a visitation program at Nairobi's Kenyatta National Hospital and we always need wheelchairs. The metal kind almost always come with innnertubes which break easily and always need constant maintainence.

If I can't get to the wheelchairs in time, the patients continue using them even with punctures so they end up spoiling the tube AND the tire, too. It's a real nightmare.

I'd really like some of these cardboard wheelchairs...

Exciting! We are missionaries in Central America and can see a tremendous positive impact that this bike could bring to the poor here. Can we get more info on importing this technology?
