Gallery: Japan Announces Plans to Completely Abandon Nuclear Power by 2...


Today the government of Japan announced plans to completely abolish nuclear power by as soon as 2030.  The declaration was spurred by last year’s Fukushima disaster, which caused officials to reconsider the country’s power sources. Japan will follow in the footsteps of Germany and Switzerland, who have already sworn off nuclear energy.

    so stupid and extreme and will cause more harm and danger elsewhere than nuclear has ever done. How many people have died in coal mines over the years? Carbon footprint? They are just exporting their problems. The economy here is in the shitter aready. This is all just political bullshit and in 2 years this idea will be abandoned.
