Burbank and Long Beach aren't exactly tourist destinations either, so your comment about people jumping on board just to get a deal doesn't make much sense. It's not like Jet Blue is making any money off this, so I don't understand your negativity. It seems they were trying to alleviate some of the congestion by filling flights that may not have been at capacity. That REMOVES CO2 from the system (less cars, same number of planes). I think your point about biking, or other human transport, is a great idea. The rest of your article feels like a lot of poorly thought out whining.
