A line for the manly-man with a fashionable streak, John Bartlett’s Fall/Winter 2012 [1] collection takes inspiration from hardworking longshoremen, but with an eco-friendly twist. First presented on a makeshift wharf at New York Fashion Week, the looks borrow cues from William Golding’s Lord of the Flies [2] and 2004 film The Life Aquatic [3]. The overall effect is outdoorsy, all-American, and a little playful.
