John Bartlett’s Fall 2012 Line Takes Inspiration from Longshoremen
Posted By Diane Pham On February 16, 2012 @ 5:18 pm In Accessories and Fashion | No Comments

A line for the manly-man with a fashionable streak, John Bartlett’s Fall/Winter 2012 [4] collection takes inspiration from hardworking longshoremen, but with an eco-friendly twist. First presented on a makeshift wharf at New York Fashion Week, the looks borrow cues from William Golding’s Lord of the Flies [5] and 2004 film The Life Aquatic [6]. The overall effect is outdoorsy, all-American, and a little playful.
