Pecha Kucha Night is a design community event that was devised in Tokyo in 2003 to bring together young creatives to meet, network, and show their work in public. This Friday the 16th, Yoshi’s SF will be hosting Global PechaKucha Day – Inspire Japan, donating all the proceeds raised from ticket sales to Architecture for Humanity in support of rebuilding many of the villages and towns that have been destroyed by the recent tsunami and earthquakes. Presentations will start at 20:20, so be sure to come early, mingle, grab a drink, and enjoy Yoshi’s. Tickets are anticipated to go fast – purchase them in advance here.
