These paper egg sculptures [8] are particularly beautiful, created entirely from layers and layers of pages glued together until they form a wood-like consistency. Dodd then carves them into egg shapes to reveal the layers beneath like the natural rings found in wood. Dodd says that recently as well as recycling books she has begun to recycle magazines which she finds to be a disposable product in society. She says she likes to create something that can last longer than the magazine’s life-span.
