However, the question in any antitrust issue is whether the act committed benefited or hurt consumers, not whether it benefited or hurt the players in an industry. I think this is a little ironic because if one were to accuse Amazon to be a monopolist in ebooks because the low prices hurt the publishers, one should also accuse Apple for selling songs for cheap too. I am sure Amazon has a role in this.
