Gallery: Justyna Poplawska Creates Sugar-Like Crystalline Lamps from Re...

Polish designer Justyna Poplawska has been experimenting with light and glass for several years now. Her latest creation is a cool pendant lamp called ‘Luna’, and it looks good enough to eat! While the sugar-like material isn’t edible, it is just as sweet with its recycled glass and bio-resin structure. The stunning lamp emits a soft and calming light, creating the perfect ambience for late night dinners.

Justyna Poplawska graduated from the Product Design Department at Copenhagen’s Danish Design School, where she has been working with recycled glass from household products. She enjoys giving objects a poetic feeling with the use of traditional crafting methods and innovative materials. If you like Luna, check out her Fungi light, made from the same material!
