The designer, Kyla McCallum, who runs the studio, works with origami to make products, packaging, graphics, and lighting fixtures. All of her lamps from Sonobe and Foldability Collections were made out of modular segments and hand-folded using a traditional folding technique. The shades, which can be made in various sizes and shapes, are fabricated in either East London or Glasgow, where she graduated from the Glasgow School of Art.

These awesome designs are available within the UK and will also be featured at the Designjunction show during this years’s London Design Festival. Be sure to stop by if you’re in London this week.
