Members of Congress are not letting Ralph Lauren’s “made in China” Olympic uniform snafu go away quietly. In fact, having Team USA’s Olympic uniforms made in the US is one of the only thing Democrats and Republicans can agree on these days. This week, 59 members from the U.S. House of Representatives sent a letter to the U.S. Olympics Committee calling for future Team USA uniforms to be made in the United States. And on Monday, nine senators introduced the “Team U.S.A. Made in America Act of 2012,” which would prevent future uniforms from being made overseas.
