Levi’s Debuts “Water<Less” Jeans That Use Up to 96% Less Water
Creating that cool blue hue that comes with the typical pair of jeans can be one of the most water intensive processes in textile production, sucking up to 42 liters of water during finishing alone. But Levi’s is changing all of that with their new line of water conscious jeans dubbed the Water<Less jeans. Coming in more than a dozen of Levi’s classic cuts, each pair will boast an average of 28 percent less water—and up to 96 percent for certain products.
