Levi’s Launches 2 Million Pairs of Jeans Made With Better Cotton

This week Levi‘s invited Inhabitat to their San Francisco HQ to celebrate their first collection of products made with Better Cotton. The initiative is working with 40,000 farmers to produce cotton using less water and chemicals while raising labor standards and income levels – and 2 million pairs of Levi’s jeans made with Better Cotton are already on store shelves! Since 95% of Levi’s products are made from cotton, this initiative has tremendous potential if they’re able to scale it up – read on for a closer look.
