Lighting is a big factor. LED lights are found throughout the home. From the bathroom vanity to the kitchen range hood, to the column supports and underside of the house, the energy efficient LED lights illuminate the paths and community spaces. LED lights are recessed in the ceilings and outdoor lounge area. A string of lights are embedded under the floor slabs in the outdoor deck so that you can “watch your step” from the living area to the yard. As one prepares their meal, another string of lights line the counter tops and kitchen sink while a column of lights shine the outdoor dining area, illuminating the whole dining experience.
LED lights are inserted in the balcony walls, lightening the master bedroom as if the sun has never gone down. You can read your book in bed as you fall asleep under the soft lights and be rest assured that energy costs are down in this LED infused sustainable house.
