Just in time for spring we’ve spotted some fanciful three-dimensional paper designs in the form of colorful frocks. Crafted from paper piles ranging from seed packets to computer paper to newsprint, artist and self-proclaimed “paper couturier” Linda Filley breathes new life and a delicate beauty into otherwise discarded materials. Drawing her inspiration from various facets of daily life, within a series of thoughtful cuts, folds and rolls, Filley’s frocks are not only able inhabit a state of whimsy, but also make a positive impact on the environment.
