This year we were thrilled to announce that one of our favorite architects, Shigeru Ban, won the 2014 Pritzker Prize–and today, for the first time in history, they are live streaming the awards ceremony! Often referred to as the “Nobel Prize” of architecture, this prestigious honor was awarded to Ban for his experimental and environmentally conscious designs, which are often applied to disaster relief situations.
