Lloydesign Creates Colorful Layered Stools and Tables from Salvaged Offcuts

by , 04/04/11

Loyld's Stools and Tables, Loyld's Stools, Loyld's tables, repurposed materials, reclaimed materials

We are loving this recycled stool and table, made by Lloydesign out of the U.K. Both the stool and table are made from 95 percent recycled materials! Lloyd stacks and fuses together locally salvaged offcuts of various colors of sheet material. The bases are topped with glass or a circular piece of the same layered material — which could have been cut from the very material supporting it. The resulting furniture has a rainbow layer cake effect that would complement any apartment.

Lloyd also designs sleek multipurpose tables that have acrylic stone tops that can be flipped over and used as trays. Worth a mention is also a hallway mirror/tray/coat hook that is complete with LED lights. Their elegant and unusual furniture is only available online, so take a look-see or request a digital catalog.
