If you are tired of having the same IKEA [4] furniture as all your friends, this great building kit might be your way out of that carbon copy world. Low-cost, portable and easy to use, Loose Joints by Dutch designer Joscha Weiand [5] will help you build your own unique furniture, suited to your needs to boot!
The more we interact [7] with an object, the more we know it and love it. And objects that can alter shape easily will strengthen that connection, as they can ever-adapt to changing space and personal needs.
Weiand’s simple Loose Joints system consists of a series of wooden poles that screw together to take on never-ending, curious shapes [8].
