These stunning sculptural chandeliers are far from what they appear to be. Modeled after the precious lotus flowers that emerge from murky swampland, Eugenio Menjivar’s LOTO Lamps transform oceans of plastic debris into a series of ambient pendant lamps that reminds onlookers of the organic beauty that fills the world and the creative potential that lies within sustainable design. This DIY project is one of 23 finalists in our second annual Spring Greening Competition, which showcases innovative designs that find brilliant new uses for recycled, reclaimed and reused materials. If this lyrical LOTO Lamp catches your eye and won’t let go, vote for it now in our Spring Greening Competition!
