Designer Chris Oliver created this lovely laser-cut flat pack Pear Light while at university a couple of years ago. The elegant lamp glorifies the benefits of low-energy lighting and laser cutting, and each unit is made in the UK and delivered flat-packed to be assembled at home – which minimizes CO2 emissions and costs associated with shipping. The pear light is available in different colors, can be personalized with etched text on the base, and can be purchased for $137 from Oliver’s Etsy page.
