The 21 unit luxury Bluepoint Residences were designed to take in breathtaking panoramic views while maximizing solar shading and privacy. Modular louvered screens, made from a light-weight, wood-plastic composite, primarily waste sawdust, will form a dynamic skin around the residences. Each louver is specifically designed for its location on the facade for a combination of solar access as well as view formation.
While the architecture for the residences was inspired by local and traditional building, Paul Raff Studio uses modern techniques and technologies and combines them with a local aesthetic appropriate for the location. For instance, the residences also include lattice canopies and Thai-styled timber salas, or outdoor living areas, which are an important part of Thai living. The residences will also feature a series of cascading pools and gardens that interconnect the buildings and frame landscape views.
