Makaon collects every day materials that most people consider to be rubbish, cleans them off, sometimes crushes the cans if necessary, and sorts his bounty of recycled materials into different colors. Then he sets about crafting miniature replicas of characters such as Little Kitty, Darth Vader, the Smurfs and even My Little Pony.

His attention to detail and color is extraordinary. We were particularly impressed with Batman and Darth Vader, and I wouldn’t be a girl if I hadn’t noticed that My Little Pony looks just like I remember her from all those years ago! Of course, Makaon doesn’t restrict himself to American characters. He has an enormous portfolio of work, which we urge you to visit.
