With all of the interest and buzz surrounding sustainable design and fashion, you’d think there was a school to teach budding designers and entrepreneurs the ins and outs, but there isn’t. Until now, that is. Eco fashion experts Bahar Shahpar and Tara St. James are launching GUILDED, an educational consultancy that will consolidate all of the knowledge they’ve amassed on sustainable garment-making, fabric sourcing, human resources, supply chains, branding and more but they need your help! There are only 5 more days to fund GUILDED on IndieGogo and get it up and running. Not only will your dollars make the first ever school devoted to sustainable fashion a reality, you’ll also have a stake in an initiative that may finally bring the fashion industry into the 21st century. Oh, and if you need a little extra incentive for contributing, there are a bunch of nice “perks” like a free Study dress, a free class or workshop at GUILDED, or a lovely dinner at one of NYC’s hottest restaurants for those who donate!
