Europe’s swift population is rapidly declining due to the loss of nesting sites caused by the demolition and renovation of buildings. This is because modern, newly insulated buildings don’t offer adequate spaces where birds can nest. As part of a protective campaign to address this issue, Menthol Architects has created a Tower for Swifts. The 8-meter-high free-standing structure provides birds with a safe place to nest in Warsaw, Poland.
