Metamor Architects has transformed the abandoned Cineporto industrial facility in Lecce, Italy into a light-filled, modern film center and studio. The architects carefully preserved the site’s existing features while incorporating contemporary concepts and design work to give it the aging structure a second life.
Metamor designed an inviting main entrance to the building that connects three different areas and enables the building to function as a film facility. The Cineporto is accessible through curved corridors, and the team laid typographic designs and arrows along the floors to provide. All of these new design additions compliment the existing space, forging a well-balanced blend between classic industrial architecture and contemporary design.

I would like to say this form of architecture is very intriguing to me. I like the rooms and how spacious they are. I also like how the rooms are designed, the paint, and decor used to make the room seem open and bright. I have yet to visit, but I am making this place one of the tops on my list.
