This M2 home is a custom modular design for a family in Glacier that includes two bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a kitchen and dining room. Measuring in at 1,295 square feet, the home is smartly-designed and makes efficient use of space. Two medium modular units are combined to make the house, and they are joined by a bridge built on-site after the units were delivered. One side contains two bedrooms and a bathroom, while the other contains the kitchen, dining, living and utility room.

Method Homes targets LEED for homes 2.0 Gold certification or higher for all of their prefabs, which requires natural daylighting, ventilation, radiant heating, no-VOC finishes and energy-efficient design. This custom M2 prefab home also features corrugated metal siding and a standing seam metal roof, a mini-split heating system, on-demand hot water, FSC-certified maple cabinets and floors, dual-flush toilets and low-flow fixtures, EcoTop counters, and a Morso high-efficiency wood stove. The entire project took 3 months to complete from start to finish.
