We were just there on 12-9-2012. During the ride we saw a FOODY Vertical Hydroponics System (http://vertical-hydroponics.com/) sort of in the back. It was growing stuff nicely. Does anyone have a picture they can share with us? We have two on our back patio and purchased another for my 90 year old mother to make sure she gets some fresh greens!

Tomatoes is a perennial plant it going growing for years if you give the necessary conditions. Make a holder to guide and tie the branches. Cut the new branches unwanted. So, you will grow a “tomatoes tree”. : ]

Those particular Styrofoam pots are used because they are extremely durable and lightweight. You could probably stand on one without it breaking. And because they stack very well. That same stack setup is used in the International Space Station, so the overall weight of the planters is a concern.

I visited the behind the scenes agricultural research area when at Epcot. I received a paper on sources for more information. I have misplaced this and would like to obtain a copy. Can you help Me? This was an incredible thing to see.
