It’s common for green-minded gadget-lovers to rely on solar power to charge up cell phones, music players, and other electronics. But the latest solar-powered gadget is nothing if not unusual. Micro-Kitty — the world’s first solar vibrator — can keep going for two and a half hours when fully juiced up from the sun.
No word on how long it takes to charge up the vibrator, but we hope it isn’t too time-consuming — after all, who wants to leave a sex toy sitting out in the sun? Micro-Kitty boasts another green credential besides its solar capabilities: the vibrator is made of silicone instead of toxic pthalates, which have been banned from children’s toys in the U.S.
When you’re done with the Micro-Kitty, consider sending it to Dreamscapes’ sex toy recycling program here.

Thanks for the article, but I’d be a little wary of toys from Cal Exotics they may claim the whole phthalate free thing, but they’re a company renowned for pushing jelly toys for years, and there are no regulations saying that they have to tell the truth about their toys… after all the government just views it as a novelty, not a material that is designed to be in constant contact with mucous membranes.
This one’s a solar powered vibrator too http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=19341
Take 8 hours to charge for an hour of play, and it can be disconnected from the powerpack so you can leave it on the windowsill safely!
