Gallery: Milan 2010: The Interni Think Tank lights up Milan

 
Interni Magazine's annual exhibitions always light up the night at Milan Design Week, and this year's Think Tank at the Universita degli Studi di Milano was no exception. The exhibition showcased a spectacular array of green installations and products complemented by social meeting spaces known as the ‘Design Islands’. The work on display is by a group of international designers which includes Philippe Starck, Matteo Thun, Mauricio Cardenas and Kengo Kuma -- read on for our favorite finds!

Lucca Trazzi‘s T-Garden is an LED light installation that reinvents the garden space with high-tech flowers made from Eurojersey Sensitive Fabrics.

Another outdoor setting featured two of Philippe Starck’s RevolutionAir wind turbines. These elegant energy generators offer are perfect for domestic use and feature innovative shapes.

This table by Jaime Hayon connects various forms of renewable energy in an artistic installation that includes solar panels and micro windmills.
