Gallery: Milan 2010: The Interni Think Tank lights up Milan

Interni Think Tank showcased work by an international group of designers including Philippe Starck, Matteo Thun, Mauricio Cardenas and Kengo Kuma.

Lucca Trazzi‘s T-Garden is an LED light installation that reinvents the garden space with high-tech flowers made from Eurojersey Sensitive Fabrics.

Another outdoor setting featured two of Philippe Starck’s RevolutionAir wind turbines. These elegant energy generators offer are perfect for domestic use and feature innovative shapes.

This table by Jaime Hayon connects various forms of renewable energy in an artistic installation that includes solar panels and micro windmills.

This “Wooden Beacons” installation by Matteo Thun and Consuelo Castiglioni-Marni address the lifecycles of the produts we consume.

John Pawson teamed up with Salvatori to constrict his House of Stone. The elegant modern structure is built from bricks made of 99% recycled granite.

The Terra (Cotta) Box by Mauricio Cardenas is a beautiful outdoor pavilion adorned with hanging potted plants.

A series of ‘Design Islands’ provided space for conversation and relaxation throughout the Interni Think Tank exhibition space. This area which is titled Alfabeti was designed by Mario Trimarchi and Frida Doveil.
