The old adage that quality is better than quantity definitely applies to this incredible one-storey home in Amsterdam. The homeowner, a Japanese man, called for a design that is not only clean and minimalist, but that makes nature a focal point. With very little space to work with, i29 Architects solved the client's challenge by orienting the entire home towards a dramatic green wall.



























The banality of the design is oppressive. Where is the color? It looks like an insane asylum or a clean room lab.
