Gasfreundschaft is a mobile hospitality cart and artpiece by designers Anna Rosinke and Maciej Chmara that speaks to the idea that public space like sidewalks may have many more functions that we might be aware of. Comprised a wheelbarrow kitchen, a table and ten folding stools, the roving space gives people the opportunity to travel from place to place to sit and eat or interact with passersby. The project took place in Vaduz, Dornbirn, Bregenz and Feldkirch, Austria in summer and autumn of 2011 and was initiated and supported by Art Design Feldkirch and Tschabrun Wood.
