Now that fall is well underway, Cocoon Fires have launched their ultra modern fireplaces, which offer an environmentally friendly alternative to coal-guzzling fires. Featuring an immaculate curved spherical form, these sleek fireplaces are not only a unique concept, but have a thermal energy efficiency rating of more than 75%.
Fueled by bioethanol Biofuel, the Cocoon fires are smoke-free and odorless, emitting a combination of heat, steam and carbon dioxide. Cocoon fires are designed to be installed in any location, and models are available for suspended, wall-mounted, or free-standing applications. The steel fires are fully adjustable and can be rotated 360 degrees, making it possible to focus heat in any direction.

There is no exhaust for the CO2. This would seem be a dangerous device to put into one’s living room in the winter, when one normally keeps their windows closed.
