Is it just us, or are gingerbread houses taking a decidedly modern tack this year? Architect and LEED AP Kristina Hahn Atelier‘s sugary Cake Study House 09 is certainly no exception. It combines two things we love at Inhabitat – the clean lines of new-school architecture and sweets! Oh, and did we mention that it has almond cacti, a pepper Palm tree, Toblerone stairs, hard gingerbread floors, cookie countertops and marshmallow furniture? If that doesn’t sell a house (even in this economy), we don’t know what will.
