Our friends over at molo recently released their portable Hobo Lanterns to much fanfare and we just got news that the interior design duo has now unveiled a special edition version of the tote-shaped LED lights to benefit Japan. Called “Heartfelt,” each lantern will have the iconic red Japanese “sun-disc” hand painted on it as well as on its packaging. Only 50 of these limited edition versions will be made and the full proceeds will be donated to support Architecture for Humanity’s reconstruction efforts in Japan. The Heartfelt lanterns will be available for purchase at molo’s exhibit in Milan at the Temporary Museum for New Design.
