We’re going to see more and more companies see climate change as a risk. I remember the Thailand flooding that boosted hard drive prices in just a week or so. More and more companies are relying on parts and/or services that are found on other shores, especially the ones that have low labor and resource costs (which by the way, some of the countries with low costs are also the ones most affected by climate change). Just imagine, we’re having record temperatures and record breaking storms around the world, and I don’t think it’s going to ease up soon. Sure, these companies see Climate Change as a risk to BAU, but are they going to do anything about it?
