The aptly named Moss House is a beautiful eco-residence that thrives under cloudy skies near the beaches of Northern California. Located south of San Francisco, the house was designed by local architect Elizabeth Vespremi for her son and his family. Conceived and built with lots of loving care, the home features a great array of green building features ranging from water conservation and collection systems to extensive active and passive solar strategies. Other green highlights include the use of recessed LED lighting throughout the home, radiant heated floors, raw clay walls, xeriscaping, and an electric car charging station.
