Want to know what the future of electric motorcycling looks like? Kindly direct your attention towards the MotoCzysz E1pc, a futuristic-looking electric bike that has 10 times the battery power of a Prius, 2.5 times the torque of a Ducati, and a top speed 140 MPH. For some perspective, the bike’s closest electric competitor in this week’s Isle of Man TT motorcycle competition reached a top speed of 102 MPH during practice.

Some more impressive stats: the MotoCzysz E1pc contains hand-assembled lithium-polymer batteries that can be swapped out in seconds and an electric motor that runs at 500 volts (fast enough to split a mechanic’s hand in two). During practice for the Isle of Man competition, the bike managed to make a 94.6 MPH lap.
Eventually, MotoCzysz plans to develop a range of production electric motorcycles for green speed demons. This week, though, we recommend keeping your eyes on the bike as it puts its non-electric competitors to shame in the Isle of Man race.
