MTRL Design, a laser-crazy design/build studio from Omaha wants to bring to bring sustainably grown, harvested, and manufactured bamboo panels to the midwest. They’re kicking off a brand new IndieGoGo campaign that will feature their limited-edition, customizable product line made from the locally grown bamboo. They want their “Made in the USA” label to be asterisk-free, with products made locally from start to finish—no outsourcing, no waste, cradle to cradle, and totally eco-responsible. Eventually they hope to help make great design more accessible to everyone by making American-made sustainable bamboo panels available to architects, designers, contractors, builder/makers, and entrepreneurs all over the U.S. Watch their video above and support their campaign here!
