NYC: Mulchfest 2010

by , 01/05/05

If you’re stuck with a tree after the holidays and aren’t sure what to do with it, take advantage of the New York City Parks Department’s annual Mulchfest/Treecycle event at parks across the city. Just drag your tree to the nearest location and the friendly volunteers will promptly chip it into mulch. Some sites will even let you take the resulting mulch home with you for use in your garden!

Check out more details about Mulchfest here.
