Cedar Haven is a Forest Retreat Made with Reclaimed Logs

Cedar Haven is a forest retreat inspired by the cedar trees and tranquility of its surrounding area. Following the specifications of the homeowners who wanted an escape that would fit amicably on a site where an old log cabin once sat, they hired Gelotte Hommas [4] to build the stunning, contemporary residence. Many of the logs, used as decorative and structural pieces, were reclaimed from the site itself, along with branches, stones and other locally found objects.
