Architecture For Humanity New York Studio (AFHny) took back a bit of the streets this year with the installation of their socially innovative and beautifully designed ARTFarm project. Located in the Bronx, New York, at first sight we found ourselves completely enchanted by their eclectic installation, which focuses on material reuse and found objects to create an array of gorgeous plant pots. A true exercise in community design, the ARTFarm project pooled a diversity of volunteers and transformed a lackluster space into a destination imbued with community spirit and the hope of providing residents with the tools and knowledge needed to maintain a spectacular and ever-evolving green space.
