Eggleston Farkas Architects’ Nighthawk Retreat is an Eco-Getaway in the Cascade Foothills

Set in the Cascade foothills of Washington, the Nighthawk Retreat  is a solar-powered, earth-sheltered getaway with clean, minimalist lines. The double-skinned vacation home also features thermal insulation, sun shading, fire protection and roll down doors that provide extra security. The cast in place structure  designed by Seattle’s Eggleston Farkas Architects  was recognized for Sustainable Merit at the Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards.
