Nissan is going to show the world just how fun their LEAF electric car is at the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed in the U.K., and they’re going to do it in reverse. Thanks to its electric powertrain, Nissan claims that the LEAF can travel just as fast backwards as it can going forward. Nissan is set to prove this at the event this month by attempting to complete the famous 1.16-mile Goodwood hillclimb course as fast as possible – going backwards! If they can do it, they’ll set a new Guinness World Record for the fastest time over a distance of one mile in reverse.
