Gallery: Nissan To Release Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle By 2015


Nissan is already dominating the electric car market with its Nissan Leaf, but they are about to take their sustainably powered agenda to the next level with a new strategy. According to the Japanese car maker, within the next four years, Nissan will release a brand new hydrogen-powered vehicle.

    I hope this isn’t what it’s going to look like. I want to buy a hydrogen powered car eventually, but I don’t want to look like the stereotypical eco-nut. Can’t we just design our eco-friendly cars to look like, you know, cars?

    For the sake of national security regarding fuel sources, hydrogen should be the future of every nation that borders the ocean. Batteries require too many rare earth minerals that are dominate by China. Hydrogen, though, is surrounding us. Couple Thorium reactors with hydrogen fuel creation and you have a clean system for powering a mobile population.
