Nuit Blanche is an annual event during which museums, art galleries and artists to open their doors and present work to the public over the course of a winter’s evening. This year, spectators were invited to observe Preschoux’s magical constructions that emitted an ambient glow. Each one was about three meters tall, and they were grouped together to form a dazzling new element to the garden.
Installed in a space within the 13th district of the French capital, the sculptures became a temporary part of the shrubbery, appearing to grow out of the ground. The series is similar to Preschoux’s previous sculpture work in which abstract and dynamic forms are made using string and wood.
