A panel lecture entitled “The Road to Widespread Adoption of Electric Vehicles” will be happening at the New York Academy of Sciences (NYAS) on February 11th, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The panel will discuss the logistics of bringing a large electric vehicle fleet into an urban environment such as New York City. The issues discussed will include availability of recharging stations, capacity of the electric grid and consumer understanding and acceptance of the new technology. The lecture will take place at the NYAS conference center at 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich street on the 40th floor in New York City. It is $20 for non-members and $10 for non-member students.
